1. Washing frequency and scenarios
Winter: It is recommended to wash every 3-4 times. If it is used frequently or shared by multiple people, the cycle should be shortened to once a week.
Summer: Due to high sweat and humidity, it is recommended to wash it every 2 days to avoid bacterial growth.
Hotel bathrobes must follow the zoning cleaning standards, use special disinfectants, and regularly dry at high temperature (below 80°C) to kill pathogens. Rinse thoroughly after each wash to avoid detergent residue causing the fiber to become hard or yellow.
2. Cleaning methods and steps
Water quality selection: It is recommended to use softened water to reduce the risk of calcium and magnesium ions combining with soap to form soap scum.
Detergent: Neutral or color-protecting detergent (avoid chlorine bleach). It is recommended to wash new bathrobes with clean water, and softeners are prohibited to prevent the water absorption performance from decreasing.
Machine wash: Select the gentle mode (30°C water temperature), put it in a laundry bag to reduce friction, and avoid mixing with clothes with zippers and hooks.
3. Product disinfection
High temperature disinfection: Drying temperature should not exceed 80℃, or steam ironing (below 110℃).
Chemical disinfection: Use oxygen bleach (non-chlorine bleach), especially for white bathrobes, to avoid damaging color printing.
Ultraviolet/ozone: Hotel professional equipment is often used for deep sterilization, and families can use portable ultraviolet lamps for local treatment.
4. Maintenance and storage
Dry in time after use. It is easy to breed mold in a humid environment. Brush the surface lightly with a soft brush regularly to restore the fluffiness of the terry.
If stored for a long time, it needs to be completely dried and folded and stored in a cool place. Moisture-proof agent or mothballs can be placed to prevent insects.
