The pattern of satin jacquard bedding can reflect light. This is mainly because the jacquard process creates raised patterns or textures on the surface of the bedding, causing light to reflect and refract when illuminated.
Specifically, the jacquard pattern of satin jacquard bedding is usually a three-dimensional pattern or texture woven on the surface of the bedding. When light hits these raised patterns or textures, the light reflects and refracts between patterns of varying heights and shapes. A portion of the light encounters the patterned or textured surface and is reflected. This part of the reflected light will be reflected back into the air at the same angle as the incident light, forming a specular reflection effect. Another portion of the light passes through the patterned or textured surface and is refracted between the fibers within it.
